By using Thallo you agree to these terms. They're short, so please read them.

Who we are

Thallo is run by an independent developer based in Morocco, who is responsible for your data (the "data controller"). Contact: support@thalloplants.com.

Thallo is free

Thallo costs nothing. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads and no hidden fees. If we ever offer something paid, it will be optional, the price will be shown clearly before you pay, and you'll always have to confirm it. See the refund policy.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 16 (or under the age of digital consent where you live), you need a parent or guardian's permission. Keep your sign-in safe and give accurate information. You're responsible for what happens on your account. You can delete it at any time in Settings.

Be kind in the community

Share things about plants and gardening. Don't post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, spammy or misleading, and don't share other people's private information or photos you don't have the right to share. Don't post fake reviews or pretend to be someone else. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. You can report posts and comments and block people at any time.

Your content

You own what you post. By posting it publicly, you let Thallo store and show it in the app. You can delete it whenever you like.

AI advice is a helping hand, not a guarantee

Plant identification, profiles, watering estimates and diagnoses come from an AI and from general rules, and they can be wrong. Double-check before acting on them. Toxicity information is a guide only: if a person or pet may have eaten a plant, contact a doctor, a vet or a poison control center right away.

Points and badges

Points, roles and badges are just for fun. They have no money value and can't be bought, sold or exchanged. We may adjust them, for example to correct mistakes or cheating.

Fair use

Don't try to break, overload or misuse the app, its AI or other people's accounts. AI features have daily limits so they stay available for everyone.

The service

We work hard to keep Thallo running, but it's provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable or change. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by relying on AI advice. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.

Law

These terms are governed by Moroccan law. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protections of your local consumer law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are important, we'll tell you in the app before they apply.
